Day one.
As soon as we landed in America we were greeted by three big black men who carried all of our luggage through the big airport to our big american car which we then drove on the big 10 lane freeway. We stopped off at a big bistro and I endulged myslef with a big fatass pizza that could have fed us all. We drove through the neighbourhood of Washington looking at the big houses, and all of the big people walking around on the streets. We arrived at our big hotel- ‘Georgetown Suites’ and settled down in our big apartment (although the kitchen is tiny). The big kingsize bed could house 5 people and the big flatscreen TV is as wide as our dining table and you can do star jumps in the big shower . America is big.
And don’t get me wrong it’s great having all this space and luxury but among that I can’t help thinking that something is horribly wrong with all of this…
